About The World’s Most Famous Ring
These Rings are a recreation of the “Movie Ring” that played the role of the “One Ring” in the “Lord of the Rings” movie trilogy by Peter Jackson.
The design is based on how one of Jens’ sons, Thorkild, described the ring as a child: “Simple, heavy band.”
Since the first movie premiered in December 2001, the Movie Ring has been the most recognizable ring in the world.

Jens Hansen trained many of New Zealand’s leading contemporary jewellers and his pieces are seen in museums, galleries, and royal collections alike.
His works were known for their craftsmanship and design quality and have lasted generations. Many of his early designs are still just as relevant as when they were first sold decades ago.
Thanks to its elegant, yet recognizable shape that fits every finger, the Movie Ring is perhaps the most timeless piece he ever designed.
Make the ring your own
The original Movie Ring was 7mm wide (just over 1/4 inch) and made of 18ct yellow gold.
Your Elvish Love Ring can be an exact replica, but you can also choose from three other widths (3mm, 4mm, and 5mm), three other materials (white gold, red gold, and platinum), and three other gold qualities (9ct, 14ct, and—yellow gold only—22ct).
