100m Temporary Down Pipe – The Efficient Solution for Sediment and Erosion Control
Introducing the Temporary Down Pipe, a practical and cost-effective solution designed to meet council requirements for sediment and erosion control at construction sites. This product enhances production efficiency and safety for tradespeople working in wet conditions. The downpipe is made from a durable plastic lay-flat tube, measuring 155mm across to suit 100mm downpipe and available in a 100m roll or in lengths to suit specific needs. It’s easy to install and perfect for managing water flow during construction, ensuring compliance with environmental protection regulations.
Key Features:
- Effective Sediment Control: Designed to help meet council regulations for sediment and erosion control, preventing pollution from building sites.
- Time-Efficient Installation: Quick to set up using simple methods like screws or duct tape, enhancing productivity on-site.
- Sizing: Available in a 100m x 105mm 200 um heavy duty roll
- Durable Construction: Made from a robust plastic lay-flat tube, providing reliable performance under different weather conditions.
- Cost-Effective Solution: Reduces expenses related to erosion control and enhances safety for workers during rainy conditions.
Suggested fixing method:
- Step 1: At the downpipe drop in the gutter - roll your TDP over about 3 times like you would for the top of your socks. Slip it up over the drop and put 2 screws through the rolled TDP into the drop.
- Step 2: At the stormwater pipe end you can insert a short piece of the same pipe which has been slit so you can compress it inside the TDP water pipe to hold it open at that point. One screw through should secure.
- Step 3: Alternatively a lot of builders now fix it in place using hose clamps on both ends.
Enhance site safety and comply with environmental regulations using the Temporary Down Pipe—the smart, efficient choice for construction projects in wet conditions!
